On the morning of October 18, at the northern tunnel entrance of Truong Vinh tunnel, Truong Lam commune, Nghi Son town (Thanh Hoa), the Ministry of Transport in coordination with Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces held a ceremony. Inauguration of the North - South Eastern Expressway Construction Project for the period 2017 - 2020, sections of National Highway 45 - Nghi Son and Nghi Son - Dien Chau.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrade Tran Hong Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Representatives of the Government Office, Ministries, Central branches and leaders of Ninh Binh and Nghe An provinces along with design consultants, supervision consultants, contractors and local people where the expressway passes .

Attending the ceremony on Thanh Hoa province's side were comrades: Do Trong Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of provincial departments and branches.
