Approving the project of connecting North - South expressway, National Highway 1A to Nghi Son port

In order to gradually improve the transport infrastructure in the region, attract investors to invest in industrial parks in Nghi Son Economic Zone, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province in general and the region. In particular, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has approved the project of the North-South expressway connecting the North-South expressway, National Highway 1A to Nghi Son port, Thanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, the construction site includes route No. 1: Provincial road 512, section from National Highway 1A to Tho Xuan - Nghi Son road: In the territory of Tan Dan and Hai An wards; Ngoc Linh, Anh Son, Cac Son communes, Nghi Son town and Tuong Son commune, Nong Cong district; Route 2: Nghi Son - Bai Tranh road, section from Ho bridge to North - South expressway in the East: Located in Tan Truong commune, Nghi Son town.

The land use area is about 47,683ha (the land use area of ​​Nghi Son town is about 39,335ha and Nong Cong district is about 8,348ha). The project has a total investment of about VND 1,345 billion, from the central budget, the provincial budget and other lawfully mobilized capital sources. The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2025.

Construction Investment Project Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone Area and Industrial Parks shall strictly comply with current regulations on construction investment. In the next step, it is responsible for fully implementing the contents of the project appraisal report and opinions of related sectors. People's Committee of Nghi Son town and People's Committee of Nong Cong district organize compensation, support and resettlement according to current regulations of law.
